Aruna Yoga ("Aruna", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using Aruna, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information

• Email address and display name (provided during registration)
• Authentication credentials managed by Firebase Authentication

Usage Data

• Yoga practice history, including poses practiced and session duration
• AI-generated flow preferences and history
• Subscription status and feature usage counts

Camera Data

• Aruna uses your device's camera and Apple Vision framework to perform real-time body pose detection during practice sessions.
• Camera data is processed entirely on-device. No images, video, or skeletal data are transmitted to our servers or any third party.
• Pose analysis results (angles, alignment scores) may be stored locally to track your progress.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account
• Generate personalized yoga flows using AI
• Track your practice progress and provide feedback
• Communicate with you about updates, support, and promotional offers
• Ensure compliance with our Terms of Service

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account and usage data are stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Authentication). Firebase provides industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Camera and pose detection data remain on your device and are never uploaded to external servers.

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

Aruna integrates with the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, data storage, and analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Apple Vision Framework — On-device body pose detection. No data is shared with Apple beyond standard iOS usage.
• OpenAI / AI Services — For generating personalized yoga flows. Only your preferences and pose selections are shared, never camera data or personal identifiers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@arunayoga.app.

Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability
